Primary School Swimming Gala

Last week we organised our first annual primary schools swimming gala! 🏊‍♂️🥇🏆

Held at Copeland pool we hosted six schools and sixty students. St Benedict’s Sixth Former students, Toby, Michael and Rhys, Year 11 students Jackson, Maisie and Jaya and finally Isla in Year 8 were excellent young leaders, helping to officiate and score the event. We were even treated to a race between them!

After a great competition Monkwray School came 3rd, Jericho school came 2nd and with an amazing run of first places, St James’ Primary school came first! 

Mrs Grealish who organised the event said:

“I will look forward to seeing all schools returning next year!”
