Year 11 students from St Benedict’s have today returned to school to collect their GCSE results and celebrated with parents and teachers, and friends.
Students received their results either via e-mail, or in school for them to collect them. They then had the chance to speak to their teachers, and have a Sixth Form interview if they required.
Mrs Jackson, Headteacher at St Benedict’s said:
“We are extremely proud of the achievements of all our students today. There are some remarkable results for individual students. We look forward to seeing how all our students progress in the future and we wish them all the luck in the world.”
Notable results this year included:
Mycah Labiano – Five 9’s, three 8’s, one 7 and a Level 2 Distinction * – she is going onto study at Biology, Chemistry, Maths our Sixth Form
Mya Barwise – Two 9’s, two 8’s and five 7’s – she is going onto to our Sixth Form to study Biology, Chemistry, History and English Language at our Sixth Form
Josh Groggins – Three 9’s, three 8’s, Level 2 Distinction, one 6, and two 5’s – He is also going onto Sixth Form to study Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths
Natasha McDonald – One 9, six 8’s and three 6’s – She is going onto study Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English Language at our Sixth Form
Isabelle Ritchie – Two 9’s, one 8, five 7’s, one 6 and one 5
Aaron Ronquillo – Two 9’s, one 8, five 7’s and a Level 2 Distinction – He is going onto study at our Sixth Form
Alisha Seath – Four 9’s, three 8’s, two 7’s and one 5
Mrs Muncaster, the Head of Year commented:
