Chaplaincy plays a vital role in the spiritual and pastoral care of students at St Benedict’s Catholic High School. The core of our work is to provide a supportive and nurturing environment where students can explore and deepen their faith. Chaplaincy acts as a bridge between the school community and the Church, fostering a sense of unity and promoting the values of compassion, love, and respect.
At St Benedict’s we organise regular opportunities for collective worship, creating opportunities for students to actively participate in our Catholic traditions. Additionally, Chaplaincy, in its pastoral capacity offers a listening ear to students facing challenges or wishing to seek spiritual guidance. Through retreats, workshops, and collective worship, our school Chaplain encourages students to reflect on their beliefs, develop their moral compass, and cultivate a strong sense of community. Ultimately, the work of our Chaplaincy team at St Benedict’s aims to nourish the spiritual well-being of students, empowering them to live out their faith and contribute positively to society.
