To warmly welcome our new year 7 students to the spiritual life of the school and help develop their school identity, each Spring the whole year group take part in a retreat at Castlerigg Manor, the HQ of Lancaster Diocese Youth Service.
The retreat is a way for students to draw deeper into the love of Christ by learning more about their own faith and relationship with Christ. Whilst at Castlerigg Manor, the students took part in a variety of fun, engaging and reflective workshops that helped develop their character and strengthen their bond as a year group.
“I thoroughly enjoyed Castlerigg especially the walks, they were great fun, and the food was nice. One of my favourite parts of the retreat was the party where we played musical chairs, and when we would visit the chapel to pray and celebrate Mass. It was a 10/10 experience.” – Rocco Boyd – Student
