Year 11 students from St Benedict’s have today celebrated their GCSE results with parents and teachers.
The results were delivered a little differently again this year via e-mail, and then students came into school for their Sixth Form interviews.
Mrs Jackson, Headteacher at St Benedict’s said:
“We are very proud of our students and the results they have achieved. In an unprecedented year they have shown true determination to do their very best.”
Notable results this year included:
Amy Robson – Seven Grade 9’s and two x 8’s
Jessica Veneziani – Seven Grade 9’s, one x 8 and one x 7
Keira Morgan – Six Grade 9’s, three x 8’s and one x 7
Ava Leadbetter – Six Grade 9’s, two x 8’s and two x 7’s
Finlay Starkie – Distinction * in Level 2 Sport BTEC, one x Grade 8, six x 7 and two x 6
Joshua Hewitt – Distinction in Level 2 Sport BTEC, two Grade 7’s, five x 6 and one x 4
Matei Lungu – Merit in Level 2 Business, one x Grade 9, four x 8’s, one x 7, two x 6 and one x 5
Scott Monan – Distinction in Level 2 Engineering, five x Grade 8, two x 6 and one x 4
Ethan Reed – Three Grade 7, four x 6 and two x 5
Jack Curwen – One Grade 9, one x 8, four x 7 and four x 6
Mrs Muncaster, the Head of Year 11 commented:
