Let’s Dance Primary Competition

Yesterday we hosted another one of our Let’s Dance competition for Year 3 and 4 children from local primary schools.

Four schools with six teams competed to make a brilliant and close competition. The local schools involved were Bransty, St Bridget’s, Jericho and St Patrick’s. 

The competition was judged by our Year 13 Performing Arts students Connie Dougan, Leinia Rooney and Della McBride, who also helped with the warm up session!  All of the teams choreographed solos, duets and a group routine!

The winners were from Year 3 – Bransty School and Year 4 – St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School.

Mrs Grealish who organised the event said: “There were some outstanding dancers competing today and I look forward to hosting them again soon.”
