Congratulations to all of our Sixth Form students who are celebrating after receiving their A Level results today.
All results were sent out earlier this morning via e-mail, and students have been in touch with Mr Hamilton and the Sixth Form team to discuss their plans going forward.
Mr Hamilton, Head of Sixth Form said:
“I am immensely proud that the efforts of the students have been recognised and rewarded. The disruption to learning over the last 18 months has caused considerable uncertainty and anxiety and I am so pleased to celebrate the successes of this amazing group of young people.“

Michael Lewthwaite A*, A*, A* – Will now be studying History at Newcastle University
Yzabella Renton A*, A*, A* – Going on to study English Language/ Linguistics and German at Glasgow University
Nina Jackson A*, A*, A, A – Going on to study Sociology at Liverpool University
Ellis Doran A*, A*, A – Will be starting a Degree Apprenticeship
Aaron Eldon A*, A*, A – Going on to study Physics with Study in Europe at Manchester University
Leo Reed A*, A*, A – He will now study Chemistry at Durham University
Mrs Jackson, Headteacher at St Benedict’s said:
“We are incredibly proud of the way our students have faced the challenge of the pandemic and worked extremely hard to get their results. We wish them well as they take their next steps.”
