Year 13 students from St Benedict’s have today celebrated their A Level results with parents and teachers, and friends.
Students received their results either via e-mail, or some came into school for them to collect them. They then had the chance to speak to their teachers, and Inspira who were on hand to give advice.
Mrs Jackson, Headteacher at St Benedict’s said:
“We are pleased to celebrate some of the achievements of our hard working Sixth Form students today. We are proud to recognise the individual success stories below and congratulate all our students on their achievements today and wish them all the very best for the future.”
Notable results this year included:
Matei Lungu – A, A, A & B (Extended Project, Further Maths, Maths, Physics)
Matei is going on to study Aerospace Engineering at University of Manchester. He was really pleased with his results and is looking forward to starting university!
Keira Morgan – A*, A, & A (Art & Design, Biology & Maths)
Keira is going to Loughborough University to study a Degree in Fashion Design.
Jack Curwen – A, A & C (Further Maths, Maths & Physics)
Jack is going on to study a Mechanical Engineering Degree Apprenticeship with North West Projects.
Emma Corkish – C, Distinction* & A (English Lit, Health & Social & Sociology)
Emma is going to study Child Nursing at Edge Hill University.
Mr Hamilton, the Head of Sixth Form commented:
“It was lovely to celebrate today with our fabulous Year 13 students. It has been a pleasure working with them for these past two years, and we can’t wait to see what they go on to do next.”
