We are super proud of our Sixth Form students who have recently completed their Leading Change programme through Centre for Leadership Performance.
The sustainability group recently attended a celebration event at Lakes College where they displayed their project, met with mentors and local business leaders. They were also involved in a Q & A panel being asked questions by members of the event audience.
The students were mentored by Mark Davies from NESMA and Ellie Carr from Sellafield Ltd over a 12 week period. They decided to tackle sustainability by building a fruit & vegetable garden in school. They then plan to sell the produce to students and teachers and use it as part of school meals and activities, aiming to become more self-sufficient.
Well done Millie, Eden and Mia! We look forward to seeing how your project works going forward.
