Year 11 Boys are County Champions

We would like to offer our HUGE congratulations to our Year 11 Boys’ Rugby League team who have became COUNTY CHAMPIONS again!!

The team secured a fantastic COUNTY CUP FINAL victory over Dowdales School with an emphatic 50-6 scoreline!

Mr Harrison said:

“The pace and power in display in addition to great support play made for a high level performance from the lads” 

This team  have now won the COUNTY CUP at every age group possible since they started at the school – what an amazing achievement!

The squad now face a NATIONAL QUARTER FINAL at home against St Mary’s of Leigh on Weds 5th March. Whitehaven Rugby League Club have kindly offered their ground to host this fixture which should be a cracker of a match. Good luck!
