Mrs Jackson has this week presented four of our talented students with their certificates for completing ProjX work experience in the summer.
ProjX is an innovative online work awareness program offered by Centre for Leadership Performance. Students had the opportunity to work with a range of local business offering an insight into the range of roles and skills needed to deliver against any professional project.
Iona McGrath, Byron Hully, Ciaran Boyd and Kaiden Bell all took part in the work experience in July 2020.
Mrs Muncaster, Head of Year 11 attended the students’ final presentations virutally and was very impressed:
“I was blown away by the studentss exceptional dedication to the project and their skills were outstanding.”
Each student gained feedback following the work experience and highlights were:
Iona was exceptionally organised and a credit to her team. She was always on time to the timetable sessions and went above and beyond to keep her team on task.
Byron presented on the final day with a professional charisma that demonstrated his engagement and commitment to the project.
Ciaran was a confident member of the team and worked well with his team members. He made good use of the online MS-teams platform to communicate and work as an effective team member.
Kaiden is a natural leader and showed excellent leadership throughout the two-week programme. Bringing the St Benedict’s team together and supporting them in reaching their goals, he showed a high level of strength and positivity in his leadership style.
