We are very proud of two of our Year 8 students who have spent their weekend helping with the ‘Copeland Christmas Food Project.’
Sonny McAllister and Josie Rose from Year 8, both helped packing up 4000 Food Parcels as part of the Copeland Christmas Food Project, which is supporting children on free school meals.
Not only have they helped in making the parcels, they have helped organise the food in the club, they helped tidy and sort the recycling of the empty boxes, arranging the parcels once finished and also instructing the adult volunteers on where to put the finished parcels.
The food parcels have been delivered to various locations this week, including St Benedict’s and will help families over the Christmas period.
Amazing community spirit and thanks to everyone involved!
