Congratulations to one of our Year 9 students, who has been awarded a gift voucher for her excellent work in a zoom workshop!
Last week, Mrs Bishop held the workshop, via Zoom with 15 of our Year 9 students. It was delivered by Professor Kaz Stuart, from The Institute of Health, on behalf of Cumbria University.
They wanted to get ideas from students, in person, about the facilities available to them in their communities.
They were also discussing a survey sent out to young people in the area and the activities that had been suggested from that.
Mrs Bishop said:
“It was a great session and the students all enjoyed it and participated really well. Kaz sent in a £25 voucher for the student who contributed the most, which was Lucy Colaluca. Well done, Lucy!”
